Bigger!
Zoe is now an official crawler, crawling room to room, putting things she should not have in her mouth and following Jon around to pester him. She even pulled herself up in the crib for the first time yesterday. I have a feeling she is going to be an earlier-than-Jon walker. I still don't know how I feel about that. She is sure a cutie though. She has four teeth right now with two more about to break through. The ones she currently have are the two front bottom and the two top side teeth (Next to the two front teeth, which are the ones just about to break through). She has fangs and boy does she bite hard with them. She is always growling. Its the cutest sound ever!
Zoe Crawling
She LOVES kissing her reflection!
Zoe's Fangs
The first time she stood up for reals by herself.
Jon can't keep his mouth shut. He is talking all the time telling on his sister and telling me "Lets see....I know" Its too cute. He loves to read and stay up into the late hours of the night playing with his toys by the light coming through the blinds, which he opens so he can have more light to play with. He has learned how to say sorry. If ever he does something bad he comes up to me and says sorry before I even know what he did. How can I discipline him when he apologizes before I even know. He also has to press every button for me. If I forget and press the elevator button we have to wait for the doors to close so he can press the button and reopen it. I just humor him and wait, Rick however, would like me to end this practice but its one of the joys Jon has that is not worth fighting with a two-year-old about. Plus if I remember to let him get the door for me there isn't a problem. Oh that is another thing. He always opens my door for me. Such a gentleman! I hope he stays that way forever. He is so caring. He is learning his colors and letters and even though he doesn't really know them he always tries to tell me what they are. He still loves to watch his "shows" which I am sure the Doctor will get mad at but sometimes its the only way I get any cleaning done. Although he has started helping me clean. He helps take the trash out, wash the windows, do the laundry, and take care of Zoe. The only downfall to his new found passion for cleaning is when he has anything with a sprayer...like the Windex bottle...he finds the need to spray Zoe on the head. I've decided to only give him spray bottles with water. That will make sure I don't have to call poison control.
Jon's actually Eating :)
Rick is grateful he has a job, but I think him and I both are sick of busy season. I would like it to be over. He is still as wonderful as ever and he does so much for me.
Well as for me I stopped taking birth control a little bit ago. Don't worry we aren't trying to get pregnant at all! I just didn't like the headaches I was getting and I wanted to see what I was like without it. Well since I got off it I am happier, nicer and even less stressed. I even got the desire to go on a diet and I have lost 17lbs so far!!! Yay!! I even like my husband more...if you know what I mean ;) I have decided that birth control is the devil and now that I am off it I can be the nice person (who can still get moody but only when its reasonable) I was before I got married. Its nice finally feeling better about myself, and falling deeper in love with my wonderful, amazing, sexy husband!
On another note we moved and we don't have to deal with that old disgusting place anymore. No more termites in our food. I cook all the time now. We even had a some friends over to hang out and we had a blast. I am not scared of Zoe crawling all over the floor because the carpets at are new place are clean! Also the heater and A/C work! We won't have to freeze or die of heat anymore! And to top it off with two parking spots and tons of visitor parking this place seems like heaven compared to our last place! Our neighbors seemed sad we were leaving but that wasn't going to keep us there a minute longer!
The termite droppings in one of the shelves in my old apt. I know its gross but I wanted to show someone what I was dealing with.
Well with all good things must come the bad.
Our Honda has been acting up so I took it in to get serviced. I just flushed the transmission and radiator and got an oil change. Next I have to take it in to get the belts change and brake lights and wipers replaced...but I think I will wait a few weeks because yesterday the radiator blew in our Kia. Turns out that there was a "plastic welding job" that had been keeping it running. The lady asked if we had done it. I said nope, it must have been the ghetto used car company that we bought the car from...She asked when we bought it. I let her know its been over a year and a half. She was so surprised I guess this "easy fix" should have only lasted a little bit. I told I pray a lot. I guess the Lord answered our prayers and kept the car going for that long on a welded radiator. Well it is getting replaced by an AAA certified repair shop. They guarantee all the work for 12,000 miles or 1 year, which ever comes first. Its going to cost $500, but for a good quality job I think I will take it. I am grateful that it happened the week we are getting our tax return....Heavenly Father is AMAZING! He always knows. He's a pretty nice guy!

Life always happens......
"She is perfect" everyone kept saying.
"Please don't say that" I would respond. "Perfect always means there is something wrong"
I should have knocked on wood!
When my brother passed away they told me it was because he was too perfect; Ever since then I wanted anything but perfect babies! Give me a misshaped head because you don't really have problems with that. Or even an ugly baby, but a beautiful one with the perfect everything. That is too scary.
Well I just found out yesterday that Zoe needs a CT scan on her head, neck, and chest.
I have noticed that something was wrong with her eyes and two weeks ago I saw that one of her pupils ia twice the size of the other. I called my Doctor and made an appointment for that afternoon. There they referred me to an Ophthalmologist.
Saturday morning we went in and the Doctor looked at her pupils and said "Most the time I have to strain to see the difference, hers is so obvious." That just made me sad. I hate the facts that it might be worse. Then she put eye drops in and left. I hated waiting. When the technician came back she asked me some questions and without saying anything went and got the Doctor. The Doctor came back in had us sit back down and without looking at Zoe again she said. "She needs a cat scan. We wonder if she has Horner's Syndrome , Don't worry though in the 20 years I have been doing this I have only know 2 kids that had this problem and they were both older than her."
Don't worry! Are you kidding me! Then she proceeds to tell me that because she is so young we have to put her under anesthesia while they do it, but because we can schedule it for after she turns 3 months she won't have to be admitted into the hospital.
OH GOODIE!
I know a little about Horner's already because of what my doctor told me to look up so I wouldn't be worried....It didn't help. So I already knew that she might have a brain tumor if she had horner's. So I told the doctor. Well I think she is too smart to have a brain tumor.
Her response "It’s not a brain tumor it’s either a neck or chest tumor. That is why we need the scan of those parts too." That wasn't helping me so I asked "So I really don't need to be worried" Her response was "No not at all, she is so young to have a tumor that would be big enough to affect the nerve that constricts and dilates the pupil"
Last I check Tumors do WHATEVER the heck they want to! I am pretty sure I have NEVER seen a timetable for a tumor.
Gosh! Come one doctor give me a break. I am a mother, I AM going to worry!
Well as you can see I am a little stressed about this. I get to call to schedule her cat scan tomorrow so hopefully I can get it for the 21st. That is the soonest weekday where she will be over 3 months! I will keep you updated when we get the scan! Please pray that it is nothing and she only has asymptomatic anasacoria
If you look at the pictures of her, you can see what is going on with her pupils.

Life with two Children
Because of her crazy life she thinks that everyday should be adventurous so whenever we are stuck at home she gets pretty upset!
My kids are just TOO cute!
Jon is adorable. He is saying full sentences now and he LOVES telling us what to do. He adores his little sister although he likes his alone time with me so if she is around he can get upset. So far he has only hit her intentionally once. I hope it stays that way. We were all in the bath yesterday and Zoe started kicking Jon and he was very mad at her. He didn't realize she was just playing but he let me have it! I am not allowed to let her kick him apparently. :) They add so much excitement to my life.
As for me I started up school again. I am taking 13 units this semester. 2 of my classes are self motivated classes so that is hard. I hate when you have to keep up on readings without any weekly assignments to force you to do it. Instead when the Midterms and Finals come I have to catch up before I take them. I hope I can get my act together and start reading the required articles every week instead of waiting. As for the other 2 classes they have assignments every week so it keeps me together and helps me prepare more for the Test. I know it sounds dumb but I am grateful for graded homework!

Jon found my mascara!
I was watching TV (house and the antique roadshow) with Jon, when I realized for the last few minutes Jon had been gone and too quiet. When I turned around I found him facing the couch with my make-up bag holding an open tube of mascara. I jumped up grabbed the mascara without even looking at him. As soon as I realized he had gotten mascara all over his hands I looked down at him to scold him but then I saw his face and busted up laughing! I have to admit for the first and ONLY time he put on mascara he did a pretty good job. He actually got it on the eyelashes and then some! Wow...I need to stop putting on my make up in front of him!
